Find more qualified employees with lower recruitment costs

Everyone needs good employees, but they’re hard to find and expensive to recruit, and there are no guarantees of job compatibility.

The Kansas Career Pipeline can:

  • Pre-qualify candidates’ skills, interests, and work values before you invest in the interview process.
  • Create an awareness of high-demand occupations in your company and industry.
  • Put your company’s specific career openings in front of highly qualified candidates all over the state.
  • Give candidates a true idea of what it’s like to work for your company with a low-cost video.
  • Help you nurture relationships with a stream of job-ready employees for the future through e-mentoring, scholarships, apprenticeships, summer jobs, and on-the-job training opportunities.

How it works

The Pipeline is currently being used in over half the middle schools, high schools, and community and technical colleges in the state. Kansas universities are also being added. After taking the Pipeline’s Kuder® Assessments, students from seventh grade through graduate school can explore occupations that match their personal interests, skills, and work values.

Kansas Workforce centers will have the system available in early 2008, providing a supply of pre-qualified employees who are immediately available for work.

Your company can sponsor occupation-specific pages, pop-ups, and e-mail opportunities to connect with these highly qualified recruitment prospects. You can also promote your company to job seekers with an online video, which the Pipeline makes available at a discounted rate.

You’ll spend less money on recruitment, yet acquire employees who are better matched to the jobs they’re hired for … and more motivated to be a part of your team.
